How these numbers were settled

The nitro version (E2029) of the MBX8TR ECO (electric, part E2030), from the same chassis lineage as the MBX8R, MBX8R ECO and MBX8TR ECO.

• Mugen's spec pages (mugenseiki.com/spec-mbx8tr_e.htm) are text and photos only, with no gear ratio or tooth counts, so no manufacturer-published figure is available.
• The stock 46T spur and the 4.6:1 transmission and axle ratio come from the So Dialed gearing database (sodialed.com/setups/mugen-mbx8tr), a third-party racer setup aggregator, so all figures are community-sourced rather than from Mugen.
• Neither figure has been corroborated by a second source; Mugen's PDF manual for this kit is a scanned image with no extractable text and has not been checked.
• No pinion ships with the kit (it depends on the clutch bell and engine fitted), so the pinion and final drive do not apply.
• So Dialed's 'typical pinion' figures are racer recommendations by motor class, not a shipped part, and are not used.
• Tires and wheels are sold separately, so the tire diameter does not apply.
• As a nitro vehicle, KV and cell count do not apply.
