How these numbers were settled

Tekno publishes no gear ratio for any of its kits, so the after-spur figure here is the front and rear ring and pinion read off the manual's own spare-parts list. The kit ships without tires, without a motor and without a battery, all three stated in the manual's 'additional equipment and parts needed' list, so those are facts about the product rather than gaps. 40T ring against a 9T diff pinion, which is the truggy and monster truck gearing across the range.
