Redcat Racing Vertex-6

Stock is as the vehicle ships. Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart. The top speed is kinematic: an ideal no-load RPM with no slip and no loss under load, so a real car is slower.

How these numbers were settled

The only Redcat crawler in this batch that publishes both the tooth counts and the totals, so every figure is filled.

• Redcat gives spur 35T, pinion 16T, and 49.22:1 front / 68.91:1 rear with the 33 percent underdrive engaged.
• Back-solving the after-spur constant off the front figure: 49.22 / (35/16) = 49.22 / 2.1875 = 22.50, and it checks the other way, 35/16 x 22.50 = 49.219.
• The rear number is the same driveline with the underdrive in - 68.91 / 2.1875 = 31.50 - but the underdrive is selectable from the transmitter between 0 and 33 percent, so with it off both ends run 49.22 and a single final drive genuinely exists; that is the figure recorded.
• Motor is a Hobbywing Fusion 4269 1800kv brushless with integrated ESC, 2-4S.
• Tire diameter is Redcat's published 7in on 2.9in beadlocks = 177.8mm.
• Speed sanity: 1800 x 4 x 3.7 / 49.22 = 541 wheel rpm, about 11 mph, right for a 1/6 crawler.
• Redcat's product page is the only source - nothing independent reproduces this table yet - so sourced, not verified.
