Stock is as the vehicle ships. Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart. The top speed is kinematic: an ideal no-load RPM with no slip and no loss under load, so a real car is slower.
How these numbers were settled
Kyosho's Technical Data gives 'Gear Ratio 12.7:1' and 'Tire (F/R) 115x44mm / 115x44mm'.
- Kyosho's 'Gear Ratio' is the complete reduction, not a transmission constant: on the MP10e kit from the same 1/8 line it is printed as '10.87 : 1 Pinion 14T', a total tied to a specific pinion, and 12.7 is in the normal band for a 1/8 electric buggy.
- Kyosho's product page gives no tooth counts for this Readyset and no KV for its KYOSHO SPEED HOUSE brushless motor.
- The spare-parts list gives IF505-12 pinion 12T/VE, IF245 spur 46T and the 13T/43T diff bevel pair, so the ratio after the spur is 43/13 = 3.3077, and 46/12 x 3.3077 = 12.68 against Kyosho's published 12.7:1.
- The fitted motor is part 70601, 'TORX 8 BLS KV2000'.
- The cell count is from the manual: two 2S LiPo packs in series.
