Traxxas Stampede 4X4 BL-2s

Stock is as the vehicle ships. Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart. Not published means it exists but no source we could find prints it. The top speed is kinematic: an ideal no-load RPM with no slip and no loss under load, so a real car is slower. The maker advertises 28 mph, which is their own claim on their own conditions.

How these numbers were settled

Traxxas sells the Stampede 4X4 in two brushless tiers: the VXL (Velineon system) and this BL-2s value tier (different motor and ESC, part 67154-4).

• Traxxas's product page (traxxas.com/67154-4-stampede-4x4-bl-2s) states a 'BL-2s 3300Kv' motor, 'Gear Ratio (Internal): 15.36:1', 'Tall 5.3" Sledgehammer tires', NiMH 6-7 cell / LiPo 2-cell max, and an 'under 30 mph' top speed.
• The tire diameter is 5.3 in converted to 134.6mm; Traxxas's '5.3"' is the class size it labels all its off-road tires with, not necessarily a measured outer diameter, so treat it as approximate.
• The sibling 2WD BL-2s page prints both quantities ('2.72 (final drive: 12.34)'), the usual pattern for Traxxas 2WD trucks; by the same convention the single number printed for the 4X4 BL-2s (15.36) is treated as the total final drive, not the ratio after the spur.
• No pinion, spur or independent statement of the ratio after the spur was found for the 4WD BL-2s chassis, so all three are left blank rather than guessed; no tooth count was back-solved from an assumed constant, since that would invent a number.
