Stock is as the vehicle ships. Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart. The top speed is kinematic: an ideal no-load RPM with no slip and no loss under load, so a real car is slower. Speed gearing is the taller set that ships in the box but is not fitted; swapping it in is the owner's job, and the car runs hotter on it.
How these numbers were settled
The manual prints 'spur x 2.85 / pinion = Final Gear Ratio', and its gear chart is colour-coded with green marked 'Stock Out of Box Setup, 50mph with 3S'.
- The single green cell is 14T/46T, giving 46/14 x 2.85 = 9.364 against the chart's 9.35.
- The red 100mph cell is the 34T pinion, which ships in the box as optional speed gearing rather than installed: 46/34 x 2.85 = 3.86.
- The tire diameter is not from Traxxas, which gives only a 2.8in wheel size for the stock 6477/6479 sets; 109mm (4.29in) comes from a dealer's spec listing for the stock front set.
- The manual's '50mm diameter' line refers to the motor.
