How these numbers were settled
Shaft-drive 4WD counter-steer, rear-midship motor, front one-way and a solid rear axle.
- Yokomo publishes the second reduction as 2.35:1 and the counter-steer as FCD x1.3 rear speed-up.
- Its FCD compliance table lists the other gears as x1.5, x1.8 and x2.0 for the Drift Package, so 1.3 is the kit figure rather than the only one available.
- Note the YD-2 writes its reduction as 1:2.6 and the YD-4 as 2.35:1; the order is flipped but both mean the transmission constant.
