How these numbers were settled
Axial's specification block prints the axle as "Worm Gear 16T/4T", which reads as 4:1 and is wrong.
- The stock worm is 2-start on a 16-tooth wheel, so 8:1; Mofo RC lists 2/16 as the stock ratio and all eleven of their alternatives back-solve to 8.00.
- Internal here is the whole chain after the pinion, 2.684 transmission x 8 axle.
- Brushed 030, so no KV.
- Tire diameter is the 2.44 in Rock Lizards figure Axial gives in the product text rather than in its specification table.
